With better weather conditions, a few more stripers are showing on trolled flies and swim baits, with most of the fish running fromn 1-8 to four pounds. For bait anglers, bloodworms and sardines are best. Largemouth bass are fair and showing signs of improving. Most are being caught on plastics, jigs, and jigging spoons in 20 to 50 feet of water. A DFW trout plant is slated for this week, and the last plant was three weeks ago. Slow trout action before the plant, with only a few showing on small spinners, spoons, jigs, PowerMice, and PowerBait. There is a slow catfish bite on the cut baits. Bluegill and redear are slow with no reports. Water level is still at 92 percent of capacity. There is a health warning about eating fish from here (except the rainbow trout).
