Coosa River Guide Service - Lake Mitchell, Alabama. Lake Mitchell fishing guide Jeremy Veitch reports the striped bass bite is picking up and that October should being in the fall conditions were looking for. Coosa River bass guide Joey Nania reports the spotted bass bite is pretty good numbers wise. Mostly smaller fish with the occasional big fish. We also suggest waiting till we have some cooler weather for thing to really kick off. Crappie guide Chad Miller reports a decent crappie bite right now, only problem is more then half the fish caught right now are unders and have to be thrown back.

www.fishinglakemitchell.com Coosa River Guide Service - Lake Mitchell, Alabama. The striped bass bite is ok, plenty of small fish to catch. But the bigger fish are really tough to get. My advice is wait till October and we have started to cool down before chasing the bigger fish bite. As of right now it's a small fish game. Coosa River Guide Service - Guide Jeremy Veitch

Coosa River Guide Service - Lake Mitchell, AL. www.fishinglakemitchell.com Bass guide Joey Nania reports slow fishing up and down the Coosa River. On Joey's recent trip they hooked a couple good ones. But he reports most bites were from small to average fish. Joey says when we finally cool down the bite will pick up.
