Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and worms in shallows, flooded farm fields and flooded willows. White crappie fair on jigs and minnows in coves and riprap. Kaw is 23' above normal. The floodgates are open and the lake should drop around 12' per day. Bow fishing is very good for carp and gar. Paddlefish snagging below the dam has slowed down considerably. Fishing for all other species of fish in the tailwaters should get better every day.
