Good trout action in both lakes with the best bite on PowerBait in salmon peach, garlic, and rainbow, nightcrawlers, or small trout jigs. The trout are running around two pounds. The bass are also starting to show in the shallows with a major movement of pre-spawn fish into the shallows. Other bites have been slow.  Trout bite was slow to fair on both lakes with anglers using Power Bait (especially salmon peach, spring green and rainbow), night crawlers and lures to catch fish. Most trout are near or over 2 pounds. Hot spots included the north and western shore of lake 2 as well as the eastern and western shore of lake 3. 

 Big Catches of the Week: Gerald Young of Apple Valley reeled in a 7.45 Lbs rainbow on a night crawler from the western shore of lake 2. Chino angler, Brad Donahue, caught an 11.51 trout ob a Bline brown jig while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Pico Rivera angler, Gabriel Delacruz, caught a 4. 16 Lbs trout on salmon peach Power Bait on lake 2. Ernest Cerecedes of Anaheim scored an 11 lbs trout on an inflated night crawler while fishing the western shore of lake 2. Paula Bennett of Apple Valley reeled in a 4 Lbs rainbow from the north shore of lake 2 n hatchery pellet Power Bait
