The most recent plant was three weeks ago and a few rainbows are still being caught, mostly on Mice Tails and PowerBait. The final plant of the season will be this week or next week. The crappie bite is fair on small minnows. Also a few bass showing on nightcrawlers and plastics and this bite is improving fast with the warm weather. Trout are slated to be planted this week, and the last plant was three weeks ago. Plants are now tentatively scheduled for every three weeks. The best action continues to be on PowerBait and MiceTails fished on very light line. The crappie bite has also come back on in the past week with a fair bite on small minnows. Other species are also very slow. Fishing information: Bob’s Bait 661-833-8657 or www.bobsbaitbucket.com.
